Today has been one of those rainy days that just seems to go on forever. 🌧️ We’re in the middle of a typhoon, and the whole world outside feels like it’s wrapped in this gray blanket of clouds. It’s mid-summer, but today feels more like a cozy fall afternoon. With the rain tapping on the windows and the wind howling, I’ve been feeling a bit down—like the weather has taken my mood along for the ride.
There’s been a lot on my mind lately, so much happening around me that it’s hard to keep track of it all. 🌪️ It’s one of those times where everything feels a bit overwhelming, and my thoughts are like this endless list of worries. To help myself through it, I spent some time on TikTok and came across a beautiful new video by Josi Balka called “Anxiety is Beautiful.” It really hit home. If you’re feeling a bit off too, I think you’d love it. It’s one of those pieces that makes you feel understood, like someone has put your tangled thoughts into words.
But amidst all the stormy feelings, there are still these little bright spots that remind me life is full of sweetness, even on the hardest days. 🌸 Like biting into the most delicious nashi fruit, its crispness and juiciness a reminder of summer’s bounty. And then there’s the thought of slipping back into my favorite jeans this autumn—I’m already dreaming of that comfy, familiar fit. 🍂
So, here’s a little reminder for both of us: even when the skies are gray and the world feels heavy, there’s always something good around the corner. Sending you all the warm, cozy vibes today. Let’s keep finding those little moments of joy, no matter what storms we’re weathering. ☔️❤️
