Desire should be free from gender expectations. In our film, a male character confronts his fear of sexual shame in order to fulfill a long-held desire: to be pegged by his female partner. It seems like such an innocent wish. Yet society has taught us that our lust is not free. Certain acts are labeled as "queer" or "straight," "masculine" or "feminine" -but these are all just constructs.
Imagine a world where your desire isn't tied to gender performance, but simply to what you want. What do you truly long for then--regardless of your gender identity?
At its core, the film addresses the shame that often surrounds pegging particularly for straight men. It speaks to men who fear being seen as less masculine if they bottom, even if they deeply want to. Men conditioned to always lead, dominate, and be the "top* even when their truest desires lie elsewhere. Women are conditioned to be submissive or in their bottom energy. But how can we overcome that shame of performance imposed by society and find our path to sexual liberation despite gender identity?
This is a story about unlearning shame and rethinking the way we perform gender during sex. The film also shows behind-the-scenes practices of consent and communication-integral elements of real intimacy.
