November 26th Thursday I am writing this after cooling down from our traditional Thanksgiving hike. I was absolutely glistening after and the midday sunlight was spectacular... so, of course I had to capture it. More of that soon. I am simultaneously full of gratitude and feeling a bit of sadness for how different the holidays feel this year. They are still joyful, but it’s as if they have been dimmed down. Do you feel it too? I miss my loved ones. I miss the cooking. The traditions. The love. The coziness. The conversations. The warmth. My people are still celebrating the way we usually do, but we are missing quite a few of us. I’ve made my famous mashed potatoes and am about to finish up a puzzle, before the beautiful feast. I hope you are doing wonderfully and I hope you are happy. I’ll be around later to talk if anyone would like to chat tonight. all my love Alexandra
