The most significant find, until recently, had been a ten-dollar bill. Today, however, brought a surprising twist. While in the elevator, I noticed a neatly folded hundred-dollar bill positioned at an angle, reminiscent of the attention-grabbing gesture one might make at a bar when leaving a generous tip or settling a bill with flair. The intriguing part was that it wasn't in a flashy setting but rather on the elevator floor of my condominium. Contemplating what to do, the option of turning it in at the front desk crossed my mind. Yet, doubts lingered. How often do people check with the front desk for lost cash, and a presumable risk of it being simply pocketed. Complicating matters was the deliberate way the bill was folded, suggesting an intentional display rather than a simple slip from someone's pocket. This led me to consider the possibility that someone might be trying to brighten someone else's day, a feasible notion given the financial capacity of certain residents in my building. One thought that surfaced was the idea of contributing the found money to the staff's Christmas bonus that is based heavily on the residences contributions. What are your thoughts on this? 🙇🏼♀️
